Michael Ford

Mr. Michael William "Mike" Ford, age 63, husband of Kara Moore Ford of 144 Morningside Dr., Pauline, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Union Medical Center. Mr. Ford was born in Union, November 29, 1954, a son of the late Robert William Ford and Bobbie Ruth Adams Ford Snyder and husband Harold J. "Bill" Synder. He devoted many years to training horses and had retired after many years working at Wingo Tire. Mr. Ford loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family. He was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Pauline. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Jenifer F. Bradley and husband Mitch of Chapin, and Karley Ford of Columbia; a son, Kip Fleming of the home; a granddaughter, Kennedy Fleming of Union; a special great-niece, Kaydence Chadwick of Pacolet; two brothers, Tommy Ford and wife Judy and Rev. Lynn Ford and wife April all of Buffalo; a sister, Kathy F. Youngblood and husband Steve of Buffalo; a special aunt, Pearl A. Farr of Union and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brian Harris and Rev. Chris Collins. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Chastain, Larry Adams, Brad Ford, Jay Ford, Kyle Ford and Kory Chadwick. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 830 Friendship Church Rd., Pauline, SC 29374. The family will be at the home, 144 Morningside Dr., Pauline.
