Michael David Jackson

Mr. Michael David “Mike” Jackson, age 64, husband of Sherry Jackson, of 135 Pinewood Acres Rd., Union, passed away, Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Jackson was born July 16, 1961, in Union, a son of the late Alonzo Jackson, Sr. and Ida Belle Keasler Jackson. He was a member of Union Masonic Lodge #75 and was a Shriner.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Ashley Jackson Lawson and husband Michael, Brooke Jackson Parkins and husband Justin, and Dayne Jackson and fiancée Stephanie; seven grandchildren, Tobin Lee Parkins, Ava James Parkins, Rucker Blaze Lawson, Yatziri Hernandez, Itzae Hernandez, Leilani Skye Jackson, and Esmae Milan Jackson; a sister-in-law, Mary Jackson-Terry; a special nephew, Jeff Berry and wife Donna; a special cousin, Eddie Davidson, Sr.; and special friends, Trent Kinard, Kathy Keasler and many other special family and friends. He was predeceased by one sister, Brenda Berry; four brothers, Alonzo Jackson, Jr., Tommy Jackson, Butch Jackson, and Terry Jackson; and a special cousin, Tony Keasler.

Memorial services with Masonic Rites, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Philippi Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Robert Scott and Rev. Bill Randall. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
