Michael Ray Keith

Mr. Michael Ray Keith, age 61 of 143 Proctor Rd., Jonesville, widower of Nancy Gail Smith Keith, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Keith was born in Trenton, New Jersey July 20, 1953, a son of the late Jefferson Fraizer Keith and Grace Silvers Keith. He received a degree from Spartanburg Technical College and was formerly employed with Exopack in Spartanburg and had also worked in construction. Mr. Keith was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church and was a certified taxidermist. Surviving are a daughter, Lisa K. Nixon and husband Donnie of Rome, GA; two sons: John Keith of Spartanburg and Chris Keith and wife Tasha of Whitmire; a sister, Brenda K. Brotz of Union; six grandchildren: Abagail, Hunter, Kenzlee, Wesley, and MacKenzie Keith and Noah Nixon. Mr. Keith was predeceased by a sister, Jackie Leona Graham. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:30 PM Wednesday at SR Holcombe Funeral Home prior to the graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Michael Keith Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
