Michael Loyd Kirby

Mr. Michael Loyd "Mike" Kirby, age 66, husband of April Deaton Kirby of 1111 Lakeside Dr., Apt. C-18, Union, passed away Sunday at his home.

Mr. Kirby was born in Polk Co., NC, July 23, 1954, a son of the late Loyd Kirby and Dixie Irene Fisher. He retired as owner of Mike's Auto Sales and was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Kirby and his family formed to Kirby Family Ministries singing group.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Melissa Kirby Wilkes and husband Paul, Tiffany Michael Kirby, and Heather Kirby Harris and husband Chad all of Union; two brothers, Bo Kirby of Union and Richard Kirby and wife Tammy of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren, Makayla Addis, Sebastin Fowler, Greyson Day, Quinton Wilkes, Skylar Harris Michael Grant Harris and Izabella McLain; and a God-son, Dylan Boyd. Mr. Kirby was predeceased by a brother, Greg Kirby.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brian Redding. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at the chapel prior to the service.
