Michael David Roark

September 13, 2019 Mr. Michael David Roark, age 54, husband of Kelly Fowler Roark, of 1119 Ganton Way, Myrtle Beach, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019 at his home. Mr. Roark was born December 13, 1964 in Union, a son of the late Gene Roark and Barbara Millwood Roark of Myrtle Beach. He attended Union High School and was the owner and operator of Mike's Body Shop in Union and then Myrtle Beach. He was an avid Chevrolet Camaro enthusiast. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Michael Roark of Union; two step-daughters, Kinsley and McKenna Austin of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Tommy "Squeaky" Roark and wife, Kim, of Jonesville and a beloved pet, Bella. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Daisy Duckett and his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Lucille Roark. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Randy Burgess. Active pallbearers will be Terry Sanford, Gene Murphy, Harold "Bobby" Bright, Brian Freeman, Michael Gregory and Kendall Austin.
