Mike E. Martin

November 25, 2017 Mr. Mike Edward Martin, age 61, husband of Patsy Rochester Martin of 295 Deer Wood Dr., Pacolet, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his home. Mr. Martin was born in Gaffney, August 6, 1956, a son of the late Lee Edward Martin and Shirley Giles Martin. He was employed with Indorama Auriga Polymars, Inc. and was a member of Hammett Grove Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Josh Martin and wife Wendy of Gaffney and Tony Martin and wife Alycia of Spartanburg; a daughter, Cassie Martin of Pacolet; a step-daughter, Stacie Sellars and husband David of Spartanburg; a step-son, Shane Millwood of Chesnee; one sister, Elaine McSwain of Gaffney; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Martin was predeceased by two brothers, Ricky Martin and Terry Martin. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Hammett Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Clint Phillips and Rev. David Sellars. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Martin's grandsons will serve as active pallbearers and also Justin Stevens. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 101 E. Wood St., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family will be at the home, 295 Dear Wood Dr., Pacolet.
