Minnie Ruth (Carter) Taylor

Mrs. Minnie Ruth Carter Taylor, age 88, left this earth on January 9, 2021 to join her beloved husband and spend eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Minnie was born in Union County, SC on May 10, 1932 to the late Butler Woods Carter and Stella Lucille Bentley Carter. Minnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Everett Clayton Taylor and her brothers and sisters: Bill Carter, A.G. Carter, Roberta (Tom) Deal and Peggy Crocker.

Minnie is survived by her son, Bruce Jarvis Taylor and his wife Eugenia Little Taylor of Fort Mill, SC; her granddaughter Stacey Taylor Hopper and her husband Justin Barry Hopper of Rock Hill, SC; and the light of her life – great-grandson Taylin Carter Hopper.

A private graveside service will be held at the Haney Cemetery in Jonesville, SC; Reverend Emily Scales Sutton presiding. Due to COVID, the following honorary pallbearers will not be in attendance – Stanley Gallman, Robbie Littlejohn, Kent Crocker, Phillip Crocker, Allen Helderman and Stump Heatherly.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Rock Hill's Brookdale Ebenezer Road Assisted Living Facility and Agape Care for their kindness, support and loving care over the past year.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the church Minnie loved and supported – Bethlehem United Methodist Church, General Fund, 1622 Kelly Road, Union, SC 29379.
