Mrs. Minnie Harter Silvers, age 72, wife of Gary M. Silvers of 1491 Berry Farm Rd., Union, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Mrs. Silvers was born in Binghamton, NY, May 11, 1949, a daughter of the late Howard Sheldon Harter and Grace Stanton Harder. She was a graduate of Perry High School in New York and attended USC-Union. Mrs. Silvers retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing after 22 years and was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church for 25 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 52 years, Gary, are three daughters, Debbie Harris and husband Kevin of Greenwood, Bonnie Duncan and husband Mike of Union and Amy House and husband Michael of Pauline; a sister, Gracie Adrian and husband John of Perry, NY; a brother, Daniel Harter and wife Marj of Castle, NY; grandchildren: Stephanie Pugh and husband Brandon, Brittany Reece and husband Thomas, Ian Harris and wife Kate, Avonlea Hollister and husband Jennings, B.J. House and wife Tyler, Shae Harris, Sydney Harris, Mikey Gallman, Addyson McCutcheon and Kayton McCutcheon; and great-grandchildren, Braylee, Blair, Briggston, Maggie Rae and Michael. Mrs. Silvers was predeceased by fifteen siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ricky Cook. Visitation will be held immediately following the service.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Amy and Michael House, 212 Morningside Dr., Pauline.
