Miriam C Millwood

Mrs. Miriam C. Millwood, age 77, passed away, Friday, April 1, 2022, at Magnolia Manor Spartanburg.

Mrs. Millwood was born July 12, 1944, in Pacolet, a daughter of the late William Carpenter Parris and Hatti Ethel Camby Parris.  She was a woman of strong faith, strong will, and independent. Mrs. Millwood enjoyed spending time with her grandson and family.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are a daughter, Deana Kerr and husband Marty of Jonesville; a grandson, Christopher A. Kerr and wife Cassandra of Leland, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Thorton and Delores Moore and seven brothers, "Bud" Parris, John Earl Parris, Dean Parris, "Billy" Parris, Larry "Fuzz" Parris, Ronnie Parris, and Lloyd Parris.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.

The family is at the home of her daughter, 235 Church St., Jonesville, SC 29353.
