Nancy Carol Mcswain Millwood

June 22, 2016 Mrs. Nancy Carol McSwain Millwood, age 62 wife of Robert Nipper of 115 Mill Street, Buffalo, went to be with her Heavenly Father and family Monday, June 20, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Millwood was born in Union, SC on May 5, 1954 a daughter of the late Clyde McSwain and Audrey Haney McSwain. She was a faithful member of Covenant Baptist Church and loved doing mission work and spreading the gospel. Mrs. Millwood was first married to the late Ray Rufus Millwood, Jr. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Brian Millwood of Buffalo and Michael Millwood and wife Chasity of Union; two sisters, Patsy Freeman and husband Steve of Union and Faye Martin and husband David of Buffalo; two granddaughters, Briana Millwood of Spartanburg and Emily Biggerstaff of Union; one grandson, Casey Wayne Zornes of Union; a special friend Carolyn Malpass of Union; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Edward McSwain. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Wayne Cook, Rev. Melvin Shelton, Rev. Johnny Burgess, and Rev. Chuck Parrott. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Steve Freeman, Jake Black, Josh Freeman, Roger Page, Danny Groves, and David Yarborough. Members of the Adult Sunday School Class of Covenant Baptist Church is asked to sit in a group. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Covenant Baptist Church Mission Fund, PO Box 10, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of her sister, Patsy and Steve Freeman, 114 Happy Valley Rd., Union, SC 29379.
