Nancy Brown Thomason

Mrs. Nancy Brown Thomason, age 61, wife of Roger Dell Thomason, Sr., of 129 S. Main St, Lockhart, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Thomason was born in Lockhart, SC on January 5, 1953 a daughter of the late Maurice Dayton Brown and Doris Lee Warren Whitlock. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and a member of Lockhart United Methodist Church. Mrs. Thomason was a beloved, wife, mother, sister, and Nana. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Michelle L. Cooper and husband Clint of Spartanburg; a son, Roger Thomason and wife Nichole of Waynesboro, GA; one brother, Nick Whitlock and wife Sandy of Summerville, SC; twelve grandchildren, Danielle Kelly, Brooke Kelly, Taylor Fisher, Kaitlin Thomason, Bailie Thomason, Samantha Thomason, Jada Thomason, Trevor Robinson, Jacob Thomason, Zoe Cooper, Maddy Cooper, and Bella Thomason; five great-grandchildren; one nephew, Wyatt Whitlock; two aunts, Betty Pharr and husband Harold of Conway and Carol Mitchell of Union. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Merritt Wentz and Rev. Donna Eidson. Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Blake McMillian, Brad Parris, Adam Fisher, Roy Thomason, Ronnie Thomason, Russell Thomason, Rusty Thomason, and Tony Lawson. Visitation will be held Monday evening 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Nancy Thomason Fund, P.O. Box 293 Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 129 E. Main St., Lockhart, SC.
