Ned Stanley Howell

Mr. Ned Stanley Howell, age 76, husband of Rita Witt Howell, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Howell was born in Union, September 24, 1944, a son of the late Ned E. and Wilma Fowler Howell. He was a graduate of Swannanoa High School and attended Mars Hill College. He was retired from the textile industry. Mr. Howell attended Mt. Joy Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Crystal Howell Almand of Statesboro, GA and Angel Howell of Stockbridge, GA; a granddaughter, Laci Crutchfield and husband Charles of Savannah, GA; a great-grandson, Connor Charles Crutchfield; a brother, David Lynn Howell and wife Linda of Bonaire, GA and several nieces and nephews.

A tribute to the life of Stanley Howell will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church Social Hall from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family will be at the home.
