Normalee Summer

Mrs. Normalee McLaughlin Summer, age 85 of 2383 Buffalo West Springs Hwy, Buffalo, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. She was married to the late Charles O. Summer for sixty-one years. Mrs. Summer was born in Ohio January 15, 1931, a daughter of the late Earl Watson and Nancy Bell McLaughlin. She retired from Her Majesty and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Dianne Anthony; a son, Dale Summer both of Buffalo; four sisters: Gladys, Molly, Margaret and Patty all of West Virginia; two special brothers: Ray Stoneking and wife Liz and Joe Stoneking and wife Vivian all of West Virginia; three grandchildren: Dee Anthony and wife Beth of Union, Christy Casey and husband Chris of Buffalo and Billy Anthony and wife Lona of Union and great-grandchildren: Jacob, Kalyn, Thomas, D.J., Emily, Zachery, Corey, Storm and Dakota; a brother-in-law, Frank Summer; daughter-in-law, Dianne Summer and sisters-in-law, Brooks Varner and Gearaline Summer all of Buffalo. Mrs. Summer was predeceased by a son, Steve Summer. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Lynn Ford. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Robert Strait, Chris Casey, Corey Johnson, Jacob Casey, D.J. Anthony and Dakota Anthony. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Buffalo Baptist Church, P.O. Box 428, Buffalo, SC 29321. The family will be at the home, 2383 Buffalo West Springs Hwy, Buffalo.
