Olin Keith Dabbs

Mr. Olin Keith Dabbs, age 85, of 203 S. Second St., Lockhart, widower of Laura Latham Dabbs, passed away, Monday, July 1, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Dabbs was born in Lockhart on October 2, 1938, a son of the late L.J. Dabbs and Mary Justice Dabbs.  He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and retired after 23 years of service from the US Air Force. Mr. Dabbs also retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing and was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Olin Keith Dabbs, Jr. of the home; two daughters, Sherry Lee Turner and husband Timothy of Lockhart and Michelle Brannon and husband Lee of Lockhart; a brother, Willie Dean Dabbs of Lockhart; five grandchildren, Ethan Turner and wife Victoria, Tori Garrett and wife Kayla, Zack Turner and wife Kacie, Justin Brannon and Abby Brannon; a special grandson, Jason Brannon; and five great-grandchildren, Wesley Turner, Sterling Turner, Henry Turner, Sophia Turner, and Greyson Garrett.  He was predeceased by two brothers, James "Buster" Dabbs and Carl Dabbs.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Sam Baine and Rev. Tommy Bryson.  Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, July 5, 2024 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.
