Olivia H Hudson

Mrs. Olivia Hoppes Hudson, age 91, widow of Edward Hudson of New Hope Church Rd., Jonesville, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Hudson was born in Spartanburg, June 2, 1929, a daughter of the late Nevins and Ellen Sherbert Hoppes. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Hudson was a member of Oakland Road Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Wanda Motts of Pacolet; a step-daughter, Michelle Holley of Oregon; a step-son, Ronald Hudson of Texas; and a sister, Marilyn Wilson of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by a son, R.D. Motts, a sister, Earline Smith and three brothers, Arthur Hoppes, Irvin Hoppes and Nevins Hoppes, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Cedar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will be at their respective homes.
