Ollie M. Hogan

Mrs. Ollie Margaret Bledsoe Hogan, age 90, of 84 Hogan Lane, Cheraw, widow of Clyde N. Hogan, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Hogan was born in Blackwater, VA, November 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Floyd and Essie Robinette Bledsoe. She was retired from the textile industry and afterwards worked as a caregiver at an assisted living facility. Mrs. Hogan was a member of House of Praise Church in Cheraw and formerly a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Buffalo. She was the last surviving member of ten children in her family. Surviving are a son, Rev. Darrell Hogan and wife Vanessa with whom she made her home; 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Joanne Reynolds and two sons, Donnie Hogan and Dennis Hogan. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Michael Presnell. Burial will be at Rosemont Cemetery. Mrs. Hogan's grandsons will serve as the active pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Saturday at the chapel prior to the services.
