Owen Lee Gregory

Owen Lee Gregory, age 19, of 3609 Lockhart Hwy., Union, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Owen was born in Spartanburg, SC, November 4, 2005, a son of Jimmy Gregory and Rhonda McGowan Gregory.  He was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church and attended Union County High School. Owen worked at TCB Builders alongside his dad and brothers in their family construction business. He enjoyed life to the fullest, spending time with his friends and riding side by side with his brothers. Owen's attitude made things easier for his brothers.

Surviving in addition to his parents are three brothers, Tyler Gregory, Colby Gregory (Ellie) and Brett Gregory (Emily) all of Union; two uncles, Ronnie Gregory of Union and Jason McGowan of Laurens; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Betty McGowan and Norman Emler; Paternal grandparents, Bruce and Docia Gregory; and an uncle, Dennis "BB" Gregory.

Celebration of his life will be held, 4:30 PM Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church (118 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union) conducted by the Rev. Dr. Shawn Head. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be his three brothers: Tyler Gregory, Colby Gregory, Brett Gregory,  along with, Ayden Lancaster, Huston Ward and Levi Edwards.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home, 310 West South St., Union, SC 29379.
