It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Patricia Ann Bower "Miss Pat", who departed this life on July 1st, 2025, at the age of eighty-one.

Patricia Ann Bower was born on September 25, 1943, in Tyronza, Arkansas to her mother, Eva (Newcomb) Carmon and father, Ace Carmon alias "Carman". After retirement she was a devoted homemaker and day care teacher. She enjoyed conversation with everyone. She was a fan of Hank William "Jambalaya", Johnny Cash, Elvis, Christian music, Harry D. Loes, "This Little Light of Mine" and Jimmie Davis's "You Are My Sunshine." Her hobbies were crafts, needlecraft, and helping others. She was a loving mother to three children and a grandmother "Nanna" to eleven grandchildren, a sister to three siblings: Al Carmon (Sandy), Janice (Mike) Winters, Wanda Carmon, and friend to everyone she met. A cherished member of Saint Augustine's Catholic Church in Union, SC, where she lovingly provided Bible school study for the children and outreach to all those in need, that she could help. Mr. and Mrs. Bower were married in Little Flower Church and later became members of Holy Cross Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William P. Bower, a daughter Dr. Pamela (Ricky) Houghton, her two son's Michael P. Bower and William (Trish) Bower, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be at Holcombe Funeral Home, 310 W. South St, Union, SC 29379, Wednesday evening, July 2, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

A memorial service will be at Saint Augustine's Catholic Church, 103 E. South St, Union, SC 29379, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 3:00pm. Followed by a graveside blessing at Union Memorial Gardens, 1720 Whitmire Hwy, Union, SC 29379.

The Saint Augustine's Catholic Church, Ladies Guild, will provide light refreshments two doors down to the right from the church, in the Seton House, immediately following the cemetery service. All who know and love her are welcome to attend.

Flowers will be provided by Graham's Flowers of Union, SC (864) 427-2454. Donations on Patricia's behalf can be made to Saint Augustine Catholic Church Ladies Guild, in her memory (864) 427-7240.

Her warmth, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

The family will be at the home, 114 Tate Ave., Union, SC 29379.
