March 20, 2015 Mrs. Patricia (Ann) Spoone Fortner, age 62, of 3291 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo, wife of Dan Fortner, passed away March 19, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Fortner was born in Union, May 9, 1952 a daughter of the late Billy Edward Spoone and Eveline Austin Spoone. She was a CNA having worked with Home Health Care and was a member of the Union Church of God. Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Michelle Rollins and fiancée Michael Carroll of Buffalo and Tammy Waldrop and husband Bobby of Gaffney; one son, Wayne Rollins and wife Tina of Union; a sister, Janet Crossley of Gaffney; her step-mother, Margie Spoone of Gaffney; a special aunt, Gladys Henderson of Union; five grandchildren, Billy Dean and Jesse Waldrop of Gaffney, Brooke Rollins of Union, Amber McAbee and husband Jason of Union, and Bubba Yarbrough of Union; four great-grandchildren, Jade and Jerica Waldrop of Gaffney and Joshua and Isaac McAbee of Union; special friends, Shirley and Charles Tabor and Linda Rollins all of Union; a special daughter, Amy Turner of Union and two special sons, Bobby Hall and Mark Coker Mrs. Fortner was predeceased by a sister, Jill Moss and her maternal grandmother, Madeline Spoone. Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Union Church of God conducted by Rev. Tommy Brown, Rev. Rick Cook and Mr. Donnie McAbee. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Sunday at the church prior to the services. The family will be at the home, 3291 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy., Buffalo.
