Patricia Jean (Humphries) Mcabee

Mrs. Patricia Jean Humphries McAbee, age 84, 1330 Peach Orchard Rd., Union, widow of Broughton McAbee passed away, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. McAbee was born April 28, 1940, in Shelby, NC, a daughter of the late Willie Humphries and Vernie Horne Humphries.  She was a nurse's aid at Ellen Sagar for 20 years. Mrs. McAbee was a member of Faith Community Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa McAbee Birch of Spartanburg and Nancy M. Wolfe of Spartanburg; two sons, Randy McAbee and wife Denise of Union and Roger McAbee; two brothers, Jim Humphries of Union and Doug Humphries and wife Mammie Lou of Union; seven grandchildren, Brandy Cogsdill, Jessica McAbee Smith, Samantha Birch, Ashley Wolfe, Alexis Wolfe, Nicholas Dimauro, and Megan Nesbitt; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney, conducted by Rev. Steven McAbee.
