Patricia W. Kitchens

Mrs. Patricia Wilkinson Kitchens, age 88 of Lewis Rd., Gastonia, NC, widow of William Earl "Sonnie" Kitchens, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Kitchens was born in Bedford, England, April 26, 1936, a daughter of Edward and Edith Stock Wilkinson. She loved teaching line dancing and was a volunteer with the Union County Animal Shelter.

Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Gould of Lexington, and Lori Lowe and husband Mark of Gastonia, NC; two sons, Steven Kitchens and wife Teresa of Columbia, and Glenn Kitchens and wife Maria of Chapin and a sister-in-law, Barbara Kitchens of Union. She is also survived by grandchildren, Daniel Gould, Sean Gould and wife Katie, Shannon Swearingen and husband Joe, Caitlin Patrick and husband Daniel, Afton Kitchens, Colin Kitchens, Aidan Kitchens, Stephanie Kitchens, Nick Kitchens, Mitchell Lowe, and Christine Lowe and great grandchildren, Miley Swearingen, Caleb Swearingen, Harper Gould and Adeline Patrick.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Pastor Tom Tucker. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

Mrs. Kitchens' grandsons will serve as active pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective homes.
