Patrick Michael Kerr

Mr. Patrick Michael Kerr, age 73, husband of Barbara J. Hawkins Kerr of 380 Rogerstown Rd., Jonesville, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Kerr was born in Union, January 1, 1948, a son of the late Charles L. Kerr, Jr. and Grace Elaine Hughes Kerr. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Mr. Kerr retired from the SC Dept of Transportation after 16 years. He was a veteran of the SC National Guard having retired in 1997 after 21 years of service and was a member of the Jonesville Masonic Lodge where he just received his 50 years of service pin. Mr. Kerr was a member of Christian Faith Community Church where he served as a Deacon.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Steve Kerr and Tiffany, and Brent Kerr and wife Lee all of Jonesville; a brother, Marty Kerr and wife Deana of Jonesville; a sister, Debbie Kerr Moore of Easley; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Edwards and husband Brandon of Winnsboro and Ethan Kerr of Union and a great grandson, Brantley Edwards. Mr. Kerr was predeceased by two sons, Michael Lee Kerr and Jeffery S. Kerr and a grandson, Andrew Kerr.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to Crescent Hospice and Barbara Roof for their care of Mr. Kerr during his illness.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Christian Faith Community Church conducted by Pastor Glenn Sparks. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be Johnny Foster, Hugh Martin, Terry Ivey, Steve Atkins, Christopher Kerr and Brandon Edwards.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville.

The family will be at the home, 380 Rogerstown Rd., Jonesville.
