Patsy Mims Coker

Mrs. Patsy Mims Coker, age 75, of 121 Pineland Rd., Union, widow of Frankie Coker passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Coker was born in Sumter, June 21, 1948, a daughter of the late Charles and Rebecca Lee Tippit Mims. She graduated high school in Bishopville and was employed as an assistant manager with Long John Silver restaurant in Spartanburg.

Surviving are a daughter, Kimberley Finch of Spartanburg; a step-daughter, Melissa Coker of Union; three sons, Kevin Henderson and Brandon Caldwell of Union and Jamie Coker and wife Amanda of Gaffney; a step-son, Wayne Coker and wife Lisa of Union; a sister, Carolyn Robertson of Sumter; and five brothers Ronnie Mims and wife Sarah, Joe Mims and wife Frances, Floyd Mims, Boyd Mims and wife Christie, and Kenny Mims and wife Debra all of Sumter. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 22, 2023 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Friday at the chapel prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Caldwell, Tyler Travers, Alex Speers, Johnny McCullough, Nate Johnson and Bobby Davis.
