Patsy W. Cromer

Mrs. Patsy Walker Cromer, age 88, of Armory Rd., Union (Lockhart community), widow of John H. Cromer, Jr., passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mrs. Cromer was born in Lockhart, October 18, 1936, a daughter of the late Curtis Walker, Sr. and Susie Davis Walker. She was retired from Torrington Co. and was a member of Lockhart First Baptist Church where she taught Children's Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Cromer was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a sweet spirited and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Cromer, Angie Porter and Mary Fowler all of Lockhart; and a sister, Pearl Gault of Adamsburg. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Christopher Porter and Hillary McWhorter and husband Kailan and two great-grandchildren, Wylie and Willow McWhorter. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Lockhart First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Steve Lemons. Burial will be at Lockhart Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Allen, Terry Bentley, Roger Horton, Scott Vlock, Graham Vlock, Joel Vaughan and Mike O'Dell.
