Mrs. Patti Brown Nichols Hill, age 53 wife of Ron Hill of 707 Riley Rd., Buffalo, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mrs. Hill was born in Union, December 19, 1960, a daughter of Bessie B. Erwin of Buffalo and the late P.A. Brown and her step-father, the late Walter Erwin. She was a graduate of Union High School and was employed as a Senior Assistant Branch Manager with First Franklin Financial. Mrs. Hill was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church where she was a member of the Walk with Us Sunday School Class and active with the Children's and Youth Ministry with Brooke Lee. Mrs. Hill was first married to the late Bo Nichols. Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Kelsey Hill of the home, Haley Hill of Buffalo and Nicole Coursey of Charleston; two sons, Jacob Hill of the home and Alan Hill of Whitmire; a step-daughter, Brittany Nichols of Clover; a sister, Susan Brown French of Florida; three brothers, Danny Brown and wife Shirley, Richie Brown and wife Carolyn all of Buffalo and James Brown and wife Jean of Spartanburg; a sister-in-law, Sandra Brown of Spartanburg; a granddaughter, Kori Youngblood of Buffalo; three nieces, Jamie Carver, Darla Brown both of Spartanburg and Gretchen Brown Moon of Union; four nephews, Zachary French of Florida, Sean Brown of Buffalo, Christopher Brown and Matthew Brown both of Spartanburg. Mrs. Hill was predeceased by a brother, Charles Brown. A celebration of life services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Lynn Ford and Rev. Josh Freeman. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Brent Phillips, Chris Allen, Brandon Roberts, Jamie Smith, Neal Lee and Terry Hollingsworth. The First Franklin Family, members of the Walk with Us Sunday School Class, and Children and Youth led by Brooke Lee along with Bruce and Linda Betenbaugh and William and Ann Turner are all asked to sit in a group. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
