Paul M. Kicidis, Sr.

Mr. Paul Mitchell Kicidis, Sr., age 101 of 207 Birchwood Dr., Union, widower of Jewel Crawford Kicidis, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Mr. Kicidis was born in Union, July 4, 1923, a son of the late Mike and Lillie Gregory Kicidis. He was the owner of P.M. Kicidis Liquors for the past 80 years, having started the family business with his brother. In the 1940's and 50's he also owned the Deluxe Café on Main Street in Union. Mr. Kicidis was a member of Union Presbyterian Church and was a veteran of the US Army.

Surviving are a son, Paul M. Kicidis, Jr. of the home; a brother, Nick Kicidis of Myrtle Beach; two grandchildren, Angela K. Fuller and husband Brady and Michael Kicidis and wife Stacy; two great grandchildren, David Kicidis and Kristin Kicidis and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Donna G. Kicidis; a sister, Margaret K. Leventis and a brother, James Kicidis.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Union Memorial Gardens Mausoleum conducted by Chaplain Paul Jagoe.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Chuck Douglass, Chris Kicidis, Paul Greer, II, John Kingsmore, Chris Patrick, and Gabe Mulkey.

Memorials may be made to the Union Presbyterian Church, 101 W. South St., Union, SC 29379.

The family will be at the home, 207 Birchwood Dr., Union.
