Paul Edward Rash

March 1, 2018 Mr. Paul Edward Rash, age 83, husband of Roxie Garner Rash, of 369 Mt. Tabor Church Rd., Union, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Rash was born October 26, 1934 in Lockhart a son of the late Ernest Chapel "E.C." Rash and Roxie Brooks Rash. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and Limestone College where he received a bachelor's degree in accounting. Mr. Rash was retired as an accountant from International Mineral and Chemical Company in Spartanburg. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Rash was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where he held offices as long as his health permitted. He was the treasurer of the Personnel Association of Spartanburg. Surviving in addition to his wife are one sister, Mary Ellen Sprouse and husband Samuel of Lockhart, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jack Rash, Marvin Rash, James Rash, and Arvil Rash and one sister, Ruby Jones. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Merritt Wentz and Mr. Mike Massey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be, Bob Humphries, Gonzale Childers, Stan Eaves, Ronnie Eaves, Robert Palmer, and Wayne Lynch. Visitation will be held 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Union County, P.O.
