Paul R. ‘Ricky’ White, Sr.

June 11, 2017 Mr. Paul Richard "Ricky" White, Sr., age 58 of 378 Beltline Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his home. Mr. White was born in Union, March 21, 1959, a son of Doris Garner White Burrell of Union and the late Paul White. He was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Triangle Maintenance in Moore. Mr. White was formerly employed with Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing and attended Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a thirteen-year member of the S.C. National Guard, Union Unit serving as a medic. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter; Jenna White of Ft. Gordan, GA; two sons, Paul Richard White, Jr. of Union and Gerald White of Rock Hill; a sister, Joyce Ivey of Jonesville; a brother, Steve White of Virginia; several nieces and nephews and his beloved German Shephard, "Bo". Mr. White was predeceased by two sisters, Karen Jones and Betty Austin and two brothers, Timothy White and James White. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Dr. Jim Ivey. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services. The family will be at the home, 378 Beltline Rd., Union.
