Paul E. Robinson

Mr. Paul E. Robinson, age 87, of 219 Gin Circle, Buffalo, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Shirley Wright Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was born in Union, May 4, 1936, a son of the late Ellis "Cordwood" Robinson and Annie Bryant Robinson. He was retired from Fryml Fabric in Spartanburg and also retired from the County of Union, Recycling Center. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Robinson loved his family, baseball and his country and was known to everyone as "Papa Paul".

Surviving are a daughter, Donna R. Atkinson and husband Jeff; a son, Dale Robinson and wife Crystal all of Union; a sister, Ruth Anderson of Union and seven grandchildren, Bryan Robinson and wife Audrey, Brett Robinson and wife Tiffany, Kelli Bowers and husband Kenny, Katy Beth Seaburg and husband Wesley, Trent Atkinson, Leslie Thompson and husband Matt and Lindsey Patel and husband Divyish. He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren, Maddox, Thomas, Carter, Caden, Martin, Weston, Selah Kate, Libby Kate, Walker, Kaleb Paul, Hayden, Marly, Harper, Elizabeth, Kelly, Olivia, Landon, Izzy and Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
