Paulette M Cathcart

Mrs. Paulette M. Cathcart, age 82, widow of Thomas E. Cathcart, Sr. of Inman, passed away, Saturday April 25, 2026.

Mrs. Cathcart was born March 22, 1944, in Union, a daughter of the late Paul Lonnie Malpass and Mildred Garner Malpass Keys. Before her retirement, she was employed in retail sales with department stores, Belk’s, Dillards and lastly Profits. Mrs. Cathcart was a member of Putman Baptist Church, but over the last few years had attended First Baptist Church Spartanburg. She was a dedicated shopper. Mrs. Cathcart loved to shop, especially with QVC.

Mrs. Cathcart is survived by a son, Thomas E. Cathcart, Jr., and his wife, Kimberly of Ellenboro, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren, Triston Wrenn, Paul Wrenn, Lindsey Cash (Jonathan), Brittney Cathcart (Chris Cantrell) and great grandchildren, Elijah Cash and Loretta Cantrell. In addition to her husband, Thomas, Mrs. Cathcart was predeceased by a daughter, Kitiz Cathcart.

Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. at Putman Baptist Church Cemetery, Thursday, April 30, 2026, conducted by Terry Lawing. Visitation will be held at the cemetery immediately following the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
