Pauline M. Jenkins

Mrs. Pauline Minton Jenkins, age 93, widow of Fred Jenkins, formerly of Pacolet, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Heartland of Union. Mrs. Jenkins was born in Pacolet, February 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Henry Rastus Minton and Lila Kirby Minton. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and retired from Spartan Grain Mill. Mrs. Minton was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Pacolet where she had served as a Sunday School teacher, a GA leader, Training Union Teacher and choir member. She always put God and church first in her live. Surviving are a sister, Sara Hall and husband Bill of Belleville, MI; a brother, David Minton of Pacolet; four generations of nieces and nephews including a niece reared in the home, Jo Jenkins of Union; two nephews reared in the home, Dennis Jacques and Terry Jacques both of Spartanburg. Mrs. Jenkins was predeceased by three sisters, Frances M. Camby and husband Howard, Shirley M. Miller and husband Ronald, and Alline M. Jacques and husband Franklin. She was also predeceased by a brother, Herbert Minton and his wife Lois B. and a sister-in-law, Inez P. Minton. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 30, 2015 at the First Baptist Church of Pacolet conducted by Rev. Tommy Sparks. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Monday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Pacolet, Cemetery Fund, 310 W. Main St., Pacolet, SC 29372.
