Perry Lewis Ford, Sr.

September 28, 2019 Mr. Perry Lewis Ford, Sr., age 83, of 116 Jennings Circle, Buffalo, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at his home. Mr. Ford was born in Union Co., January 8, 1936, a son of the late D.A. Ford and Bunia Stapleton Ford. He was retired from United Merchants, Buffalo Plant and had also worked in construction and security after retirement. Mr. Ford was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Buffalo. Surviving are three sons, Perry Lewis Ford, Jr., Steven A. Ford and wife Cathy and Craig F. Ford all of Buffalo, two sisters, Nettie Mae Ford and Millie Ford both of Buffalo; four grandchildren, Lourie Ann Watson and husband Joshua Kelvin, Tiffany M. Ford and fiancé, Andrew Hall, Dawny Madden and Katy Outen and husband Travis; three great-grandchildren, Sadie Claire Outen, Rachel Watson and Taylor Watson and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ford was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Ford and two brothers, J.I. Ford and William Ford. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, September 30, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the home of his son, Steven and Cathy Ford, 526 Linersville Rd., Buffalo and also from 3:00 until 4:00 PM Monday at the church prior to the services.
