Ralph Douglas Duncan

July 30, 2016 Mr. Ralph Douglas Duncan, age 69, husband of Mary Pharr Duncan of 114 Meng Creek Road, Union, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at his home. Mr. Duncan was born in Greenville, SC February 10, 1947, a son of the late Mac Daniel Duncan and Iva Pearl Smith Duncan. He was a graduate of Union High School and was a retired textile worker. Mr. Duncan was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and a Veteran of the US Army. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Jill Duncan of the home; two grandchildren: Nevaeh Beacham and Jordyn Crawford both of Union; a brother, Raymond Duncan and wife Bessie; a nephew, Jamie Smith and wife Connie all of Union. Mr. Duncan was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Estes and Mary Louise Sprouse and a brother, Billy Joe Duncan. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Memorials may be made to Lakeside Baptist Church, 640 Lakeside Drive, Union, SC 29379. The family will receive friends at the home, 114 Meng Creek Rd., Union.
