Randy Lee Steele

Mr. Randy Lee Steele, age 72, husband of Easter Lemons Steele of 201 Catherine St., Union, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Union Medical Center.

Mr. Steele was born in Bessemer City, NC, January 17, 1949, a son of the late Homer and May Belle Bumgardner Steele. He was retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing and had operated Pizza Inn in Union for several years. Mr. Steele was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bessemer City but attended Mt. Joy Baptist Church in Jonesille.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Scott Stelle and friend Laurel Wade and Jason Steele all of Union; a sister, Barbara Warlick and husband Howard of Bessemer City, NC; six grandchildren, Christian Steele and wife Alexis, Caity Steele and friend Vinny Ramirez, Kendall Newton, Andrew Turner, Andrew Steele and Alex Steele. Mr. Steele was predeceased by a brother, Eugene Steele.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Mt. Joy Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Randy Burgess. Active pallbearers will be Christian Steele, Alex Steele, Andrew Steele, Kendall Newton, Joey Whitaker, and Tommy Broome.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.

The family will be at the home, 201 Catherine St., Union, SC.
