Mr. Ray W. Youngblood, age 87 husband of Ferol Lancaster Youngblood, of 1134 Mudbridge Rd., Buffalo, SC., went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 19, 2015. Mr. Youngblood was born in York, SC., September 9, 1928, a son of the late Nelson B. and Minnie Calton Youngblood. He was retired from Milliken and Company and a member of Bogansville United Methodist Church. Mr. Youngblood was also a member of the Mary Sue Keith Sunday School Class and Joy Group of Bogansville. Mr. Youngblood was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Brent Youngblood of Jonesville; two grandsons, Hunter Youngblood and Will Youngblood both of Jonesville; a great- granddaughter, Kari Youngblood. Mr. Youngblood was predeceased by 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Bogansville United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Don Alexander. Burial will following in the church cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Hunter Youngblood, Will Youngblood, Jim Youngblood, Lee Wayne Youngblood, Mark Lancaster and Lynn Lancaster. The following are asked to assemble at 2:45 PM at the church to form the honorary escort: Mary Sue Keith Sunday School class, Dr. David Keith and Charles "Sonny" Mason. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S. R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
