Raymond Lee Addison

Mr. Raymond Lee Addison, age 89, widower of Doris Lawson Addison, passed away Friday January 5, 2024, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House.

Mr. Addison was born in Union, SC on May 9, 1934, a son of the late Murray and Letha Addison.  He was a former staff manager of Independent Life Insurance Company.  Mr. Addison was of the Methodist faith. He was also a member of masonic lodge No. 75.

Surviving are one daughter, Sandy Montgomery and husband Bill of Union; one grandson Kevin Montgomery and wife Kelly also of Union; two great grandchildren, Mason and Avery Montgomery. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frankie and Ray Addison and one grandson, Chris Montgomery.

Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Monday January 8, 2024, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Reverend Merritt Wentz. Burial will follow in Union Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Chump Hanvey, Michael Lancaster, Grayson Lancaster, Dexter Inman, Kevin Lancaster, Kevin Montgomery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
