Raymond C. Petrie

Mr. Raymond Carl Petrie, age 84 of Spartanburg, passed away Monday at the Upstate Community Hospice Home in Landrum. He is the widower of Patricia Anne Loving Petrie and was first married to the late Vivian Nappier Petrie.

Mr. Petrie was born in Spartanburg, July 8, 1938, a son of the late Russell Edwin Petrie and Maggie Mae Grant Petrie. He was retired from Colonial Pipelines and was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. Mr. Petrie was of the Baptist faith and was a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by several nieces and cousins. He is predeceased by two sisters, Mae Tennyson and Ailene O'Bryant.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2023 at Cedar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Michael John Rochester.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
