Rebecca W. Prince

Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Wilson Prince, age 78, wife of David Prince of 205 Canterbury Rd., Union, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Prince was born in Union, October 2, 1938, a daughter of the late George Edmond Wilson and Eloise Ward Wilson. Mrs. Prince was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter Elly Prince McFadden and husband Jeffrey of Denver, NC; a son, Eddie Prince and wife Amanda of Buffalo; a sister, Juanita Thaxton of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Brooke Holloway and husband Dave of Greenwood, Sally Woolsey and husband Steve of Payson, UT; Flannery McFadden and Donovan McFadden, both of Denver, NC; and a great-granddaughter, Dana Kate Woolsey. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2017 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Vaughan. Burial will be at Padgett's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Sam White, Billy Moore, Pete Conroy, Bruce Patrick, Ted Garner and Hugh Watson. Visitation will be held Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services. Memorials may be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church, Debt Reduction Fund, 915 S. Pinckney St., Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
