Rebekah Price Free

December 7, 2019 Ms. Rebekah Lucille Price Free, age 77, of 196 Parks Farm Rd., Jonesville, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at her home. Ms. Free was born in Campobello, June 7, 1942, a daughter of the late L.S. and Bertha Higgins Price. She was a member of Gilead Baptist Church and worked as a caregiver to the elderly for over 20 years. Ms. Free loved gospel music and making crafts especially during the Christmas season. Surviving are a son, Randy Spencer and wife Dawn of Jonesville; three grandchildren, Kinsleigh Spencer, Kayleigh Spencer and Nevaeh Going; three sisters, Hazel Thompson, Faye Vinson and Carolyn Abee all of Jonesville; three brothers, Lloyd Price and wife Ruth of Little River, SC, Frederick Price and wife Diane of Clayton, NC, and Gene Price of Valdese, NC; a sister-in-law: Pat Price of Kings Mountain, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Free was predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn Lyda and Ruth Price and a brother, Bud Price. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 9, 2019 at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Eddie Saxon. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Monday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Gilead Baptist Church, Bereavement Fund, P.O. Box 38, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family will be at the home, 196 Parks Farm Rd., Jonesville.
