Regina Canupp Denton

Mrs. Regina Canupp Denton, age 62, wife of David "Tommy" Denton of 756 Mt. Tabor Church Rd., Union, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Denton was born in Lockhart, SC August 18, 1953, a daughter of the late Henry David Canupp and Laura Sanders Canupp. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was a former Textile worker. Mrs. Denton was a lifelong member of Lockhart Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. She had her on card ministry where she was very faithful in remembering special occasions for a host people. Mrs. Denton was a devoted wife and mother. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, David Denton of Union and best friends Eugenia McKnight and Linda Davis of Union. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Lockhart Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Steve Lemons. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Pete Denton, Rhett Denton, John McKnight, III, Michael Petty, Earl Petty and Clay Wilson. Visitation will be held in Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church immediately following the graveside service.
