Mr. Reginald "Bruce" Inman, age 71, of Pea Ridge, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
Bruce was born April 1, 1953, in Tarboro, NC, he was the son of the late Kenneth Inman and Janette Pike Inman. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and had several business ventures with his most recent being his gutter business. He was recently retired from Upstate Evaluation Center with DJJ as their Maintenance Manager. Since retiring he has been working on his fishing skills and spending time with his dog. Bruce was an active member of Foster's Chapel Methodist Church where he served on numerous committees including the Church Board, Senior Citizens Group, the choir, cooking the church's annual Thanksgiving Chicken Stew, and any other task that was needed for the church. He volunteered with neighbor helping neighbor and in years past the Salkehatchie Summer Service Program.
Bruce was a member of the Mount Joy Masonic Lodge No. 203 where he was Past Master, the current Chaplin and had recently earned his Scottish Rites. Bruce never met a stranger and would help anyone anyway he could. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his trips to Santee to fish. Bruce enjoyed customizing and riding his Harley on pretty days and tinkering around the yard or in his shop as he was a jack of all trades. Bruce loved cheering on the Clemson Tigers. Bruce or "Pop" to his family will be greatly missed and leaves a large hole that only he could fill. Bruce is now with his heavenly father and his son, living the life he couldn't wait to live.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 51 years, Jane Little Inman. In addition to his wife he is survived by his "most favoritest" daughter, Heather Inman Sealy and his "most favoritest" son-in-law, Steven "Zebco" of Union. Two grandchildren, Drake and Audrey Sealy, who were the light of his life; Casey, his loyal and loving Boykin Spaniel, and Scooter their Cocker Spaniel; a brother, Mark Inman and wife Melanie of Union; a sister, Jeannie Tucker of Union; a brother-in-law, who he thought of as a brother, Keith Little of Pea Ridge; a sister-in-law, Helen Spencer and husband Ricky of Pacolet and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Matt Inman; two sisters-in-law, Cora "Pinky" Sinclair and Cindy Seymore Inman; and one brother-in-law, John Little.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Foster's Chapel Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Lee Coyle. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be, Kerry Fowler, Doug Hattaway, Chuck Douglass, Randy Manus, Drake Sealy, and Lee Sinclair. The following are asked to sit in a group and form the honorary escort, Thomas Boyd, Mike Manus, Ricky Jenkins and members of Masonic Lodge No. 203.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Foster's Chapel Methodist Church, C/O the Cemetery Fund, 392 Pea Ridge Highway, Jonesville, SC 29353 or to Neighbor Helping Neighbor, 154 Santuc Drive, Union, SC 29379.
