Rhonda Gregory Owen

Mrs. Rhonda Gregory Owen, age 56, widow of Darrell Owen, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021, at the Agape Hospice Home in West Columbia.

Mrs. Owen was born in Union, June 20, 1965, a daughter of the late Bobby and Rita Holt Gregory. She was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Mrs. Owen was formerly employed with Mary Black Hospital as a surgical technician. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Union.

Surviving are two daughters, Cassidy O. Swygert and husband Noah of West Columbia and Tabitha Owen of Union; a brother, Roger Gregory, and wife Amanda of Greenville; three grandchildren, Blaze Good, Dash Good and Aura Swygert; and two nieces, Allison Gregory and Abby Gregory. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Gregory.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale.  Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Thursday at the chapel prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be Keenan Malpass, C.J. Abee, Matt Moss, Roger Gregory, Connor Gilbert and Noah Swygert.

The family will be at the home of Allie Jenkins, 406 N. Church St., Union, where they will receive friends Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.
