Richard Franklin Gregory

February 22, 2020 Mr. Richard Franklin Gregory, age 60, husband of Vickie Jones Gregory of 4180 Jonesville Lockhart Hwy., Union, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 22, 2020. Mr. Gregory was born August 25, 1959 in Union, a son of June Griffith Gregory and the late Hugh Franklin Gregory. He was a 1977 graduate of Lockhart High School and a graduate of York Technical College. Mr. Gregory worked for Lockhart Power Company and a member of Lockhart First Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of twenty years are a son, Richard Norman Gregory and wife, Stacey of Union; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by a son and daughter. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2020 at Lockhart First Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Delois Blanton. Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Paul McCutcheon, Bobby Farr, Lynn Mitchell, Cyle Coker, Tommy Sumner and Caleb Cudd. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lockhart First Baptist Church, P.O Box 190, Lockhart, SC 29364. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church. The family would like to give a heartfelt "Thank You" to Interim Hospice: Teresa, Jenny, Sara, Scott and Leighton. Also, a special heartfelt "Thank You" to Dr. Karla Hirshorn. The family will be at their respective homes.
