Richard E. Henderson

Mr. Richard Eugene Henderson age 67, husband of Wendy Gibson Henderson of 735 Bob Adams Rd., Union, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 at his home.

Mr. Henderson was born in Union, April 8, 1959, a son of the late Robert K. Henderson and Doris Laxton Henderson. He was the retired owner of Henderson Plumbing and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 39 years, Wendy, are a sister, Sheryl Henderson; a special sister, Jennie; a sister-in-law, Lisa Gibson and Tony Benvenuti; a grandson, T.J. Gibson; special daughter, Allison Gregory; a granddaughter, Catie Magnum all of Union and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Harold “Brad” Gibson.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2026 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Visitation will be held immediately following the services.

The family will be at the home, 735 Bob Adams Rd., Union.
