Richard David “Rick” Gregory

February 13, 2019 Mr. Richard David "Rick" Gregory, age 55, of 680 Browns Creek Church Rd., Union, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Mr. Gregory was born July 30, 1963 in Tampa, Florida a son of Shirllene Meggs Gregory of Jonesville and the late Harold Thomas Gregory. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and Winthrop University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business. Mr. Gregory was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a Ham Radio Operator. Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Mary Shue and husband Don of Concord, NC; two nephews, Ben and Nick Shue of Concord, NC; and two great-nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Martha Gregory and one brother Tommy Gregory. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Merritt Wentz. Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
