Richard Wayne Skeen

Mr. Richard Wayne "Rick" Skeen, age 69, husband of JoAnne Canupp Skeen of 9101 Lockhart Hwy., Sharon, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Skeen was born in Canton, OH, December 28, 1954, a son of the late Richard Loren "Dick" Skeen and Vivian Litten Skeen. He was retired from AEP Power and Electric and was a member of Dueber Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife is his blended family including children, Jason Paul Skeen and wife Allison Flickinger and Aaron Richard Skeen and wife Danielle all of Ohio, Dawn Patterson and husband Steve of Sharon and Eric Morris and wife Andrea of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Linda Louise S. Reed and husband Randy and Beth Ellen Skeen all of Ohio; grandchildren, Hunter Skeen, Gage Skeen and wife Haley Chovan, Spencer Skeen, Gabrielle Boyd and husband Kyle, A.J. Patterson, Jacob Morris and wife Ashley Nichols, Gracey Morris and Pressley Morris, and great-grandchildren, Riley Skeen, Madelyn Skeen, Adeline Boyd, Jackson Boyd, Beau Grady Boyd, Jesse Boyd and Axl Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Sam Baine and Rev. Jeff Dean. Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the services.

Mr. Skeen's grandsons will serve as the active pallbearers.
