Richard E. Watts

Mr. Richard Eugene Watts, age 59, husband of Donna Humphries Watts of South 7th St., Lockhart, passed away Monday, January 4, 2016 at his home. Mr. Watts was born in Union, September 27, 1956, a son of Ollie Mae West Watts Brock of Buffalo and the late James Watts. He was a retired construction worker and was a member of Putman Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a daughter, Michaela Watts; a son, Dusty Watts both of the home; three sisters, Peggy Judy of Union, Linda Harrold of Oklahoma, Mary Long of Iowa; three brothers, Pete Judy of Buffalo, Ray Watts and Kavin Watts both of Kansas; a step-sisters, Terri Filler of North Carolina. Mr. Watts was predeceased by a sister Karen "Kay" Hensel. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 11, 2016 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Josh Freeman and Rev. Michael Evans. Burial will be at Putman Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Steve Freeman, Douglas Crocker, Daniel Childers, Dusty Watts, and Michael Lance Mosley. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the chapel prior to the services. The family will be at the home of his mother, Ollie Mae Brock, 248 Putman Rd., Buffalo.
