Richard D. Wells

Mr. Richard D. "Dent" Wells, age 86, formerly of Pacolet, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Union Medical Center.

Mr. Wells was born in Spartanburg Co., October 24, 1934, a son of the late Cole L. and Ruby Faye Ledbetter Wells. He was a retired textile worker and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Wells was a veteran of the US Airforce.

Surviving are a daughter, Wanda Pressley and husband Steve; and a son, Dennis Wells and wife Julie all of Pacolet; a sister, Maxine Harris of Pacolet Mills; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Wells was predeceased by a son, Terry Lee Wells.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Pacolet Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

Due to the current health crisis, the family request that COVID guidelines be followed.

The family will be at their respective homes.
