Ricky Lee Smith

Mr. Ricky Lee Smith, age 58, of 219 Green St., Pacolet Mills, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mr. Smith was born in Pacolet, November 26, 1963, a son of the late Walter and Frances Millwood Smith. He was formerly employed with Martex Fibers. Mr. Smith was of the Baptist faith having gave his life to the Lord on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in the company of his family.

Surviving is a daughter, Angel Whiteside of Spartanburg; a brother, Tommy Smith and wife Myra of Pacolet; two grandchildren, Haley Gates and Jacob Gates; a niece, Amanda Staton and husband Shane of Inman and three nephews, Billy J. Rochester and wife Shellie of Cowpens, Rev. Michael Rochester and wife Ginny, and Bobby Rochester all of Pacolet. Mr. Smith was predeceased by a son, Billy Ray Smith and a brother, Billy Wayne Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Pacolet Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Michael Rochester. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
