Ritchie Van Tucker

April 28, 2016 Mr. Ritchie Van Tucker, age 58 of 173 Riley Rd., Buffalo, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016 at the Union Medical Center. Mr. Tucker was born in Union, July 13, 1957, a son of the late William Rion Tucker and Iva Lee Brewington Tucker. He was a 1975 graduate of Union High School and was retired from Cone Mill, Carlisle Finishing. Mr. Tucker was previously employed with Torrington Co., Union. Surviving are his loving significant other, Robin Reece; a son, Benjamin Tucker of Germany; a step-son, Chris Reece and wife Ashley. Mr. Tucker was predeceased by a special aunt, Wilma Brewington Brawley. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, April 29, 2016 at Buffalo United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Ron Towery and Rev. Kevin Dalton. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Lance Jeter, Stanley Wells, Bucky Butler, Mark Walker, Eddie Ponder, and Todd Justice. The family will receive friends Friday at the church from 1:30 until 3:00 prior to the services.
